The honest basics of getting found

2. Answer every call, or text back fast.A new business wins on response time. If you can't pick up on a job, text back within minutes.
3. Ask every happy customer for a review.Right when the job is done, while they're smiling. A handful of real reviews beats any ad.
4. Take photos of your work. Before and after, every job. They're proof you do good work, for Google, your website and AI assistants.
5. Say what you do and where.“Diesel and heavy equipment repair in Susquehanna, PA” is better than “we fix stuff.” Name your trade and your towns.
6. Be findable by AI.People now ask ChatGPT and other assistants who to call. They lean on consistent, honest facts about your business across the web. Our free guide →

Why we do this

AssistAnt was started by Teddy Pivacek, an appliance repairman from Tennessee who went back to TCAT at 40 with his son Anthony, “Ant.” Teddy wrote that he wanted to give everybody a better place to work and a better opportunity. Ant was killed by a drunk driver in 2024, and AssistAnt is named for him. Helping people get their start is the point. Read Ant's story.
